Retail & franchise accounting
We set up and maintain books around how retail actually works: daily sales, inventory purchases, merchant fees, royalties, ad fund contributions, and location P&Ls.

Wisely Advised Accounting works with small businesses — especially retail shops and franchise owners. After an initial discovery meeting, you receive three customized plans: Core, Operating, and Advisory.
Services
If you run a store, a franchise, or another small business, you need books that match daily sales — not a generic year-end pile of receipts.
We set up and maintain books around how retail actually works: daily sales, inventory purchases, merchant fees, royalties, ad fund contributions, and location P&Ls.
Monthly close, bank and credit-card reconciliations, and reports you can use to see what each location or concept is actually earning.
Pay runs, withholdings, and payroll tax filings for owners and staff — including businesses with more than one location.
Federal and state business returns, plus planning during the year so entity choice, owner pay, and estimated taxes are not decided in April.
Personal returns for owners and families, coordinated with the business so K-1s, wages, and estimated payments line up.
IRS or state letters, onboarding a new location, or a question about a franchise fee: you get a person who already knows the file.
Who we help
The practice is focused on small businesses. Retail and franchises are the emphasis because those books break in specific ways: multiple tenders, royalties, inventory, and labor that moves between locations.
Shops that need clean monthly numbers without hiring a full-time controller.
Single-unit or multi-unit operators who have to report upward and still run a real P&L of their own.
Service and closely held companies that want the same steady bookkeeping and tax cadence.
Plans
We do not start with a generic package. After an initial discovery meeting, you receive three customized plans written for your locations and systems. You choose one before ongoing work begins.
The essential books. A clean monthly close so sales, expenses, and bank accounts match what is actually happening in the store.
Books plus the monthly rhythm of running the business: payroll, location reporting, and the filings that come with staff and more than one register.
Year-round tax planning and a closer working relationship — entity questions, estimated taxes, new locations, and notices handled against books that are already in order.
Exact scope for each plan is set after discovery. Pricing is not published because a single-unit shop and a multi-unit franchise are not the same engagement.
